Our Story

about us

A one-person workshop preserving bones with reverence — from the woods, to your wall.

Our Story

From the woods to your wall.

We started as a little shop in the woods of West Virginia, providing european deer mounts for local hunters. What began as walks in the woods — preserving and making art from the things left behind to decay — has grown into something bigger.

Today we supply top quality skulls of many kinds to all sorts of customers: hunters, craftsmen, artists, researchers, veterinarians, and those who love collecting oddities and curiosities.

We use dermestid beetles to gently clean delicate skull parts, paired with a slow and safe degreasing process that keeps skulls intact and at their highest quality. We never bleach, which damages delicate bone structures, and we refuse to compromise the specimen for a quick white finish.

Whether you're looking to have your own specimen cleaned, or simply want to buy one that's already processed, we can guarantee your satisfaction.

"Dry bones, come alive!"

OUR PRACTICE

Ethically Sourced. Always.

Everything is sourced ethically and legally. Animals are never sourced for the purpose of harvesting skulls.
